Good story

The Odyssey wouldn't have to decloak just to beam someone somewhere, on or off the ship.

A drop pod has one advantage that could be situationally useful. They cause chaos and sow confusion because of the impact. While it's not useful against the covenant that much as of now, I could imagine it being used against softer targets for the psychological impact.

I don't like how you decided to change the CIWS for Asgard weapons, but didn't bother to change the previous chapter to reflect that.

why would you integrate a go'auld personal shield in mjomir which has an AI but not link it to the systems instead use a manual activation. its nice of sam to say that you can shoot from in the shield out, but if one hand is on the other for the button hoe do you hold let alone aim your gun?

kull armor is far superior to mjonir armor, it negates kinetic energy, absorbs enery based weaponry, the only thing it is less in its firepower and size. now if you were to replace the top layer of mjonir with kull armor which is quite tinn then you have an awesome suit. given they have the asgard core they couldve easily syntisysed it

And the whole honorable death thing really cements it together.

Tech? Pah. As long as the names are correct, I don't care. I am far more interested in the story than whether or not a Goa'uld plasma cannon is a match for Covenant shields. And it's been such a good story so far! Very nice on the character interactions, and I'm loving the space battles even more! Back to reading.

I was actually drooling a little bit over the sheer amount of firepower the Pillar of Autumn now has. Excited to see where it goes from here!

I had actually forgotten that the Spartans are a good 7 1/2 to 8 feet tall...Yeah, Master Chief would indeed dwarf Teal'c, and by a good 1 1/2 to 2 feet!
