Fantastic story! I love how much darker this is compared to most worm or gamer fics, most aren't willing to go there and try to "make up" for all the bad that happens in canon. I hope you're doing well and I hope your muse gives you insight for this and wand for skitter! :D

Interesting and I always love gamer fics that actually use game mechanics. A lot of them sort of forget about it after the first few chapters. Or they abuse them in such a way the hero is so OP they don't really need them. I am more than a bit concerned with the complete death of Taylor's personality. But then again she just triggered and had her dad die in pretty much what a week?

It might not be all the Gamer's mind fault, she's also pretty messed up to begin with if you consider a year plus of bullying on top of every thing else.

Cant Taylor use The Nail to turn an ordinary person into what Anderson became, then kill them to get a new power, then repeat the process with other people to level up said power really quickly? That would at least make criminals more useful.
