I just checked the range of an RPG and found that Remus might be a little off with his worries about the twins getting their hands on one. Fired at an angle it would completely miss the village as it has a range of somewhere around 1100 meters. Though the article also says different models has different ranges. The RPG-7 has a 920m range before it explodes automatically. Which means if fired from the castle battlements could hit ANY part of the village you could see.

A few minutes ago I had this funny thought. In the graveyard the ritual, the was used said " Bone of the father unknowingly given. " Well, what is someone got to Riddle Sr. grave before the ritual happened and switched the bones of Riddle Sr. with the bones of Tommy's great, great grandmother? And if Harry were a time traveler he could collect blood samples from various animals for twin bladders on either arm. Now from what I've read, rituals are tricky things and don't like the wrong ingredients. So having Peter saying " Bone of the father unknowingly given. You will restore your son. Flesh of the servant willingly given. You will restore your master. Blood of the enemy unwillingly taken. You will revive your enemy. " What would happen when two of the ingredient are not what they're supposed to be? Does poor ol' Voldie go boom or something more interesting? Anywho, this was a very fun chapter to read. Having read it before I know what's coming next and MoooRon isn't gonna like it. Damn good thing that column can't move! Ya know this is one of the fics that made me take a long look at the MoooRon and realize he's a full-blown moron as well as a fairweather friend to both Harry and Hermione.

You know Fumblemort's not gonna be happy if Harry puts his beloved Potions Master in St. Mungo's for a month or better yet, ten! In one fic I read Harry threatened to introduce a palsy into Snapes' nervous system and the Death Eater backed down. Fumbelmort was so disappointed in Harry for that.

I have been reading &/or re-reading different stories now for about 5 years, since discovering the FF stories, and find your approach nearly unique with the “irreverent” adventures and snippets (my words, of course) that have held my interest and enjoyment as well as any I have read.
