The idea behind the tree house is that the forests of Konoha are so deep and intertwined that the tree house would be impossible to find without actively looking for it. Being virtually invisible from the sky, and camouflaged, it's really just some futuristic luxury that couldn't possibly exist in the Naruto universe without the equipment Naruto has access to.

And that is one of the main themes in the story. People message me all the time saying "You better not nerf shinobi." etc etc etc. However to me that is one of the key things about the Mass Effect story. In fact, it is argued that the main repeated theme in the mass effect story is that no matter how powerful someone may be, technology is the great equalizer, and can provide the means to surpass them.

This is proven with the Krogan. This is proven with the Yahg. This is proven with the Quarians. This is proven with the Protheans. And this is proven with the Reaper Threat at large. Part of Naruto's journey is seeing that while he may not be the greatest shinobi on the planet. He is the only shinobi with access to this technology, and this technology can even the playing field with virtually any opponent there is.
