I’ve read this story before and I’ve heard the argument that a wizard or a witch could protect themselves against a “muggle firearm” I completely disagree with this argument seeing as how that the magical world think that “muggles” aren’t smart enough to create anything that could possibly hurt or kill them so I believe wholeheartedly that had in canon if Lily and James had received secret training on how to handle various firearms then I believe they would have much better prepared for Voldemort.

Perhaps dusk? Since he’s a black cat and he pretty much flames a lot so it’s kinda like a dying day: aka dusk. Plus it’s a badass name!
