All that potential in the room wasted because Harry is a hormonal sex crazed teenage boy. This fic is disappointing.

If you ask me the ROR was never used to its full potential. Harry should of ask the room for a way to concentrate and the room give him material on Occlumency , a better way then Snaps method, or a way to safe way to remove the Horcrux even if he dose not know what it truly is.

Say he uses it to help him research a spell he may get 10 different books each one with different theory or technique that's not taught at Hogwarts but a easier way for Harry to perform it or potions last to time or away to fix his eye sight or some how to fix his malnutrition problem. At the end if year six after Dumbledore s death they should have raided the ROR for supplies then had Dobby hid the supplies then use him to retrieve it after they go on the run in book 7.
You could have the room create a simi permitted door some place closer to his dorm room or even in it if it is hidden right so will not be caught out of bounds. Or a Door to Grimmauld Place to visit Sirius in secret.

What a fantastic story!

I think it has so much potential for plot development and you could literally take this anywhere in the future from intel gathering from Tommy and the Tommettes, Dumbles mumbling to himself or spying on Order meetings or even just listening in with Snape’s private meetings either reporting to Tommy or reporting to Dumbles.

I’m assuming Harry couldn’t get inside Bill’s head due to Occlumency? Or was it just that Bill wasn’t in the castle?

I think you could even go as far as Harry questioning the room on how it works or what the possibilities are... can he transfer knowledge or skills from other people he links with? Can he learn Occlumency or pretty much any other skill/magic he wants as long as someone in the castle has that skill/knowledge? (Amimagus here we come!)

My most favourite of all is that Harry hasn’t even considered spying on Hermione. As curious as he is, he still considers her friendship more than his desire to see her naked or watch her masturbating. I actually think this is indicative of his deeper feelings for Hermione which I think you’ve already started to explore with the new details of Hermione’s life outside Hogwarts and her expanded social circle.

Hey, I love the story, but could you please update it? If not update it, put up for adoption? I love the story and most stories I like are usually abandoned, it’s ashamed that they are never put up for adoption. Anyways love the story, and you had a good thing going here.

I don't mind the Angelina/HP bit, but that's going to hurt when she dumps him. Harry is a fling to her. Oh, she has already invested far more emotions than she ever wanted to in him. She didn't want a relationship with him. She was just using teasing and giving a tad bit of reward to him for motivation.

Now, that she'll end up in a future Hogwart's A History due to that win, she was rather excited so actually rewarded him far more than she meant to.

There are other view points that I want to see. The porn aspect was nice to start off with. I actually enjoyed his studying with just the views at first far more though. Tonks has sort of faded from the story at the moment. That's fine though. I don't see Angelina as a long term girl friend for him. Oh, she could have been, but she's going to hurt him or accidentally break him some more.

Quiditch is the extent of her interest in him. When he gets banned from that, she'd lose interest in him rather quickly as well as being upset at him for it.

I was skimming through the reviews. I have to agree a bit. Harry isn't really using the RoR to the fullest. O.k. his time is mainly used up, but hey he could be asking the RoR what he should be studying or looking at. He could have what looks like a wall of view points all over the castle following items or characters of interest.

In some respects, I could see the room and providing the view of Sirius actually helping him feel closer to him. It never really felt right the degree that Harry was demoralized by Sirius's loss. I tend to think that Harry didn't see Sirius as he was, but as this symbol of freedom from the Dursleys as well as hope for his own real family. Sirius as his symbolic death hit him far harder. He never really had time with the man and had to build him up more in his head.

I could see the Harry/Tonks starting some time at the start of summer or at Sirius's will reading. That assumes that you will have that section the same.

I'm not really interested in the Angelina bit. I was actually interested in Harry thinking about Hermione, Ginny, and the other girls. Part me wants him to feel a tad bit guilty and think of interesting, useful and personalized ways of paying each of them back.

Currently, he doesn't have time, but after getting banned and going through the break up with Angelina, I could see Harry basically hiding himself away in the RoR. Oddly, I could see him growing more from that though.

I'm interested in who was taking care of reining in Malfoy from his house. I'd like Harry to be a tad bit curious about her.

I'm rather surprised that Harry has kept the entire RoR a secret for so long. I was expecting Hermione to be brought into things. I'm rather happy that he has kept it to himself.

Why hasn't he tried to use the RoR to gather all the useful books about his family? I'm surprised that he hasn't tried learning reading and reading comprehension spells. Hermione would either love or hate him for being able to breeze through the library and damn near memorize it all.

Back to Hermione's thoughts on access to the Hogwart's library. I don't think that we've really heard of any adults out side of the staff using it. Though your idea as it being the only semi public library, but only allowed to current students makes sense. It would really hamper students like Hermione after Hogwarts without access to those sorts of sources.

Could you just see Harry thinking to buy/build his own hidden library? He could hide it in the mundane world and just let in those that he invites.

Oh, part of what I do like is Harry ignoring Malfoy and crew. I don't like that you are still having him have all those detentions. He should have been avoiding receiving them or just avoiding those that usually give him those detentions by now. The detentions are cutting into his RoR they've got to go. ;)

Harry needs some one to really chat with. Angelina nope not really. Ginny? Nah she's moved on. Hermione? She has her own life. Oh, Harry is still one of her two best friends, but she has obviously branched out more. Harry would feel guilty unloading all this on her.

He really needs to be able to actually chat with Sirius.

Hmmm, general a good idea, but I wonder how Harry can be so dumb in canon and your fiction.

- He uses the RoR for peeping, that is good. But why not use it for masturbation or practice sex? I am sure the room could provide a life like sex dummy, if he would use his brain to think, or his cock for that matter. Or on another hand he could spy on Voldemort! He is way too uncreative.

- He is daily tortured, with undeserved detentions, by an illegal blood quill. How he can live with it is beyond me. Either he should use his brain to register that he should let Madam Bones arrest them, or kill them himself for torturing the last of the Potter line / the Boy Who Lived. Or he should register that he may not be the only one tortured and use his hero complex to either arrest or kill them.

- 5 very long chapters and he didn't get laid, despite being famous and desperate to experience sex. I hoped to read lemons, but all I read is his attempt to spy and akwardly kissing, nothing more. Booooring.

Pity it's been so long since an update, to the point it is obviously abandoned, but here's to hoping that you'll continue. Thanks for the story, I've enjoyed it so far.

The initial idea is interesting, as far as I can tell the point was to basically make Harry aware of his hormones and being a teenager in year six. While this could be played strictly for porn, you chose to actually USE the setup to develop characters.

And I love the development you've done. In particular Harry and Hermione are much different from canon, while retaining the flavor. But more importantly you showed how that transition took place so that you weren't dropping an OOC Harry and Hermione on us from out of nowhere. Your development has given the both of them a depth that Rowling didn't make clear in canon (I personally think the depth was there, but she relied too much on subtext to get the point across). Even now I'm learning from this work, as I have a project that has similar changes in character. Very well done indeed.

The one thing having this left unfinished does is make me wonder about one thing: How were you going to get Harry together with Tonks. From what you had so far, you were going with a very slow burn through Angelina and possibly Hermione, but the specifics of what was to come just leave a big question mark.
