I like the application of the novel, but I don't know if making Minato the hyperactive one is quite a turnoff along with Naruto's selfless attitude. Like I thought his reading would make him smarter, not dumber as in the original Sasuke said the leaf is hindering his abilities when the exact opposite opposed to Naruto as the leaf did limit everything and made him way too reliant on Kyuubi and Rasengan than anything else. Him still trying to do good for Sakura even though she has done nothing for him is the BIGGEST TURN-OFF in this novel she deserves nothing. Hinata I don't understand why he was so worried over her when all she did was give him some ointment and that's it, but it is Naruto. But I will have to drop too much Naruto over Sakura instead of seeing a reason to just leave her be like she did him.

I'm already composing an omake in my head for my personal use in which I beat the ever living crap out of Jiraiya for daring to hold back Naruto by, what sounds like, an EXTREME margin, because he's simply too lazy to make sure his godson stays ALIVE.

Great story otherwise. Sorry I can't continue it. This Jiraiya's pissed me off too much to enjoy reading more.

So what Summons are actually available? I'd assumed limited to FFX, what with the pyreflies and all, but I don't think Carbuncle showed up in that game at all.

For a second i considered if the green spandex wonder might have induced the fire affinity into Tenten. But if the 'flames of youth' could do that, Konoha would primary consist for fire users. :XD

Poor Carbuncle. Playing FFXI for years by now i 'know' the glowing avatar from there at least, so the plush toy reference is ore than amusing. :XD Regarding the omake, it could have been worse, i only say "tea party". :O

I find myself wondering if Tsunade's fear of blood might have been augmented by a very subtle long-term genjutsu - the way she managed to overcome it right after getting hit with an Esuna is...suspicious.
