The hokage not only lacked any valid reason to deny Kurenai her request; he also let Naruto stay with a jonin sensei who straight up admitted to not carrying about him. And by the way; after Iruka found out about the tampering with Naruto's exam he should've given him some; if not full, credit since it was Iruka himself that truly failed as a sensei. it's rather sad that Anko didn't get too much screen time in the series...though i've read several few Naruto fanfic that really seem to roll with Anko and put her as Naruto-sensei and just go from there and from what I've seen here you have done the same; lol i just love it. Too bad you haven't updated since 2012. It seem that the seeds have been planted for team 7 to permanently break them up..thought i wonder where sakura will be after Sasuke defects. Should be an interesting read
