Ok. First wanted to say that I really enjoy this story for the most part, and before you go off, it's not for reasons that you've mentioned being flamed for. I wanted to post this just as a sincere thought. I get that flames are frustrating, but retaliating in such a way as you have can alienate people and make them feel uncomfortable. Mostly about the whole "fate is real" and "one thing doesnt change anything" rant. Believe what you want, trust me I've been attacked for my beliefs before (as a Jew) and its not a good feeling. There is a such belief as "The Butterfly Effect" in which one small thing can change the outcome of everything. Also destiny and fate are touchy subjects for some, and in personal experience I have been in many philosophical debates and even strained relationships because of a difference of belief. And I get what it's like to be frustrated with life, like Crohn's Disease you mentioned (I have Type 1 Diabetes) but it does no one any good if you rant, though I admit doing it over the internet gives some degree of separation.

This is a regular crap, not too bad nor good. At least is not gay as the previous recommendation.

Did you mean to write in 'Fart a spell' near the end of the scene of Harry and Hermione on the train? If not, it's okay, we all make mistakes when writing, it's just hilarious! All kidding aside, it's been a while since I found a story so intriguing. Can't wait to see how everything turns out.

Your take on the story is a good one, and I am enjoying it immensely. I know that adverse criticism is never really welcome, but I am only trying to help by suggesting that you get a really good beta/proof reader to help get rid of spelling and grammatical mistakes, such as using ‘altar’ instead of ‘alter’, a small but critical change. There are other ones as well, but I don’t wish to seem ungrateful for your efforts, as they are, story wise, very good.

I really enjoyed your story it keep me nice and occupied for a bit. I also agree with you on the aspect of sometimes small changes, change nothing in the grand scheme of things and I thoroughly enjoy following your story for how close it stuck and for the small changes that I feel are good. I'm not into trying to make big changes to the story all the time as some readers are so while their criticism is understandable the rudeness of some is childish. My only problem is honestly adding the military and DVDs/VHS capabilities. While I do understand the reasoning as humans we progress I personally like to think the magical world would not try to adapt our ideas and come up with their own. I don't like the military part only cause I'm more into the magical side of things and could care less about adding the military help. But all in all it was a pretty good read that was different from cannon enough and has my favorite paring even if I don't care for romance stories.

Gonna be honest here- nobody really thought it through. At the very least, someone could have told him she wasn’t being married off. Pretty cruel. I enjoy the story, but that pissed me off
