 Author has written 3 stories for Merlin, and Harry Potter. I only read Merlin fanfic. I always thought fanfic, as a rule, was weird until Season 5 of Merlin happened. So here I am still looking for that perfect fic to make everything great, fill in all the plot holes and fix everything they did horribly wrong, which is pretty much everything from 4x06 through all of Season 5, in my opinion. With the exception of a few moments in individual episodes, anyway. Even all these years later, Merlin plot bunnies plague me. Maybe someday I'll get around to writing them all. My current focus is on my story Castle of Cards, though I had such a good reaction to the prologue, I will turn it into a proper prequel once I'm finished with COC. That prequel will take the story into the time just before and following Arthur's birth. I'm planning another fic in this universe that will begin when Merlin arrives in Camelot and take us to Arthur becoming king. I will always finish my fics, even if sometimes life gets in the way and I'm a little slow to update. OK VERY slow to update. I'm working on creating a map, for those that might get confused about the locations, I just haven't had the time to yet. *Update 9-15-2019* I'm still here. I'm still reading Merlin fanfiction and trying to get out of a rut. I'll finish Castle of Cards, but I've found myself overwhelmed by my story and all the threads I started and am struggling to tie up. I will finish it though. I promise, if I'm not writing, or attempting to, I'm thinking about it. |
