Personally I don't feel executing Caerleon was particularly unjust, it was certainly unwise, but act like a bandit get treated like a bandit, and bandits get executed.

They really should come back for all that wealth, I mean gold is still valuable no matter how crushed, and it sound as if there was more than enough of it, to be worth removing the debris covering it.

Update more! This is heading in a brilliant direction, a magic reveal is so needed! I like how Merlin is a dragonlord and then a warlock!
