What a great story! There are so many wonderful elements to this story. You where able to make sure that us as readers understood which version of Merlin and Arthur was talking or being talked about. I love it! Humor, love, mystery, and some action! It was perfect! You stayed very true to the characters and what makes them... them.
A coupe of notes though... I understand why you did it, but it broke my heart that the knights and Arthur had to forget while Merlin remembered. That had to make life hard. Knowing that Arthur knew who he was but then forgot.
Also I would have liked to see a conversation between young Arthur and older Gwen, as well as one with young Merlin and older Guise.
But in the end it was a satisfying story!

This is a really nice story!

It was a very enjoyable read too and it was definitely suspenseful. There were moments that would have had me on the edge of my seat if I wasn't lying on my bed. Those moments which make you feel so tense that have you asking: 'Will old Merlin survive? Will Old Arthur survive? Please don't die!' :)

The only slight problem I have with it is Merlin being paired up with an OC, I'm not a huge fan of non-canon pairings but the way you wrote it made me actually like it a bit. Mainly the part when Merlin walks in on HIMSELF! XD You're probably the only one which has me somewhat liking the OC paired with him. Though, this is all only my personal opinion, it's not really a problem, you're story is really good.

I really like Merlin's Court Sorcerer stuff, like the cloak and his sigil and the Silver Guard is a really cool idea. I loved the way you described the bonds between Arthur and Merlin, both old and young. I liked the scene where the young Arthur was with Old Merlin in the chains.
