My name's Jessica, and I was addicted to this entire fanfiction thing by my ever lovely sister Krissy (Go check out Krissy001 if you're into hilarious LOTR fics, you will not be disappointed!) I'm Canadian, and before you ask I do NOT live in an igloo, or say "eh", nor am I a savage animal-killing redneck. Americans come up with the weirdest ideas. I'm actually working to become a Certified Professional Accountant, but writing has always been and always will be my greatest passion, just like reading is.

On here, I mostly read Harry Potter, but you'll find Merlin, Smallville, LOTR and some other stuff hidden in that favourites list. Watch it though, I have taken a liking to slash, and I have no qualms about reading M-rated fics. So check the rating and summary if you don't enjoy that kind of thing! But there are other, lesser rated hilarious stories that I'm sure you will adore!

I mostly write Merlin. However, I just got into some Harry Potter and Drarry, so check those out as well. I've also recently discovered both Doctor Who and Sherlock, so maybe I'll experiment with those too. And now there's Atlantis. Really, BBC, stop being so wonderful and British and give the rest of the world a chance. I'm really kidding, we love your shows and if you stop them we'll probably have to hunt you down and kill you in vengeance.

But, my current stories are some of my most treasured accomplishments, and I love them to death. Hopefully I'll be able to keep adding to them, for all my totally awesome followers and fans out there. I adore you all. You make my life worth it.

Also, I'll explain the pictures that represent different things as we go along.

My Avatar: This is a sketch/drawing I did with pencil crayons of Hermione Granger (Emma Watson). I always tend to associate myself with Hermione. The nerdy girl in the library who loves reading, school and would rather die than be expelled. Yep, that's me.

Merlin Fics: All my Merlin fictions are represented by a drawing I did of Merlin. First time I tried sketching with colors. Now it's one of my favourite things to do. Between that and composing music for piano and violin, writing, doing bookkeeping, working, sketching, teaching art classes, and reading, I'm a busy woman!

Harry Potter Fics: All HP fictions are accompanied by a drawing I did of Harry, in pencil crayons. It's a pity the shading doesn't get conveyed as well as I'd like, but it does the job.

Sherlock Fics: At the moment there's only one of these and it's a crossover, but there will be more. Eventually. As soon as college stops being a pain in the butt. But yes, these are represented by yet another pencil crayon drawing I did, this one of our lovely Benedict Cumberbatch.

I didn't normally write fanfictions before 2012. I'm in the process of writing 4 different novels, but fanfiction is proving easier to write, perhaps because the characters are ready-made already. Also, I seem to get plot lines much easier for fanfics than for my books. (Stupid muse, seriously, if you see her, tell her to come back, please).
