This is one of best books (not only Drarry fics) I've ever read and I believe I've read so many books... Keep writing.
I'm not good with words but you should know that I absolutely loved it.

This story or rather adventure took me deep into my heart and soul. I can't even begin to describe all the emotions and feelings I experienced while reading it and even hours after finishing it, I totally love the way you weaved the relationship and how the speed at which the relationship progressed made sense in light of the magebond. I honestly loved the way you drew all those beautiful affectionate movements and actions between the two of them how you made me feel and see all those colours and scenes inside my head with your beautiful writing style I truly wish to know of u write anything else other than fanfiction like maybe it's my lucky day and I find out you are a writer with many beautiful works, for I will be for sure engrossed in checking out any other stories you might have written. I loved this world you have created.

This work completely moved me. I was spellbound throughout. I laughed and cried with these lovely boys and every heartbreak was mirrored in me. This was so powerfully and poetically written. Thank you for this gem. As an illustrator myself, I desperately want to create a webcomic with this story as the plot- but feel like I wouldn’t be able to nearly do it justice. Even so, this story will forever be branded on my heart. I doubt I’ll be able to keep myself from drawing something as tribute to how much this story evokes imagery for me. I hope to be able to post it here if so (or alongside the relevant chapter perhaps).

I always looked depressed, and even if I did smile, my eyes would still look sad, but, once, and I can’t quite remember why, I did smile genuinely, and she said those exact words. I felt really emotional after reading that. I miss her so much. This story is really nice so far!

Ok I’ve got to admit that I’ve read this story probably 5 times all the way through and yeah it took forever but I loved it even more. I always come back to it over the past several year just because I think the story is absolutely exquisite! I sometimes wish you had written more like a part 2 but then again I don’t think I could handle anymore and maybe it doesn’t need anymore to the story. But thanks so much for writing the story! Checkmate is undoubtedly one of the most profound and beautiful fanfictions I have ever read. It's what inspired me to start writing my own fanfiction. Checkmate portrays the love between Harry and Draco so intensely that I actually got a bit jealous of their bond reading some of the chapters. If we could all find love like that... sigh. I wish I had read this story when you first wrote it so my review was more timely. Thank you so much for this story! I hope that your future writing endeavors are all successful.
