*sobbing* This is beautiful. So beautiful. It drives away all the anger and pain and grief that came from most of the previous chapters. Melora is a true princess, learning from the very best (Merlin, of course). Good for Arthur. Having two of his favourite people ganging up on him with puppy eyes.
I would've loved to see Gwaine or Arthur talking to Kilgharrah or even Aithusa. And I wonder how Kilgharrah would react to Melora. Maybe he'd pop out riddles or old dragon jokes that would confuse the poor little girl.
By the way... I didn't know it was Merlin who invented fireworks. Hmm... *ponders for a while*
This was awesome! I was hooked from start to finish. I got all the feels I could get from this story, from every single chapter. One of the best reveal fics.

I love the way you wrote Gwaine in this chapter. Most authors are usually too shy to show much Gwaine can be protective of Merlin in situations like this, but you made him give Arthur the scolding of his life just the way I like it. Arthur deserved those words, no matter how harsh they were.
The knights are such brothers. They even took Merlin's side and reprimanded Arthur. How sweet!
And Merlin-sweet, wonderful young man-is too kind and innocent for this world. He forgave Arthur just like that. The prat is really lucky. But Merlin's revenge-turning the castle pink (LOL!)-is well deserved. Arthur had better grow up and become responsible.

Seriously, all it takes is Merlin dying for Arthur to see sense. He is so so pig-headed.

OK, just when I think our royal pratness is having common sense, he gets a PhD degree in Pratology. Merlin had better do something and not play meek this time.
