I love her observations of Draco in the beginning, and how she can see right through his composure to every little nervous tic and tell - what an intuitive mom. And her telling off Lucius at the end is priceless! The descriptions of Hermione did feel very overdone to me, though. We get a lot of adjectives about how gorgeous she is right in a row (stunning, alluring, graceful, trim, firm, delicate, clever, etc.), to the degree that it almost reads like Narcissa is the one in love with her. P.S. Congrats! You have one of the most reviewed fics in this fandom, and I'll be sharing it at my forum. :) |
