Ok, I am aware that I'm probably seven years too late for this comment to really matter, but I just finished watching Merlin for the first time and in my hunt for good fanfics I found yours. And I really just wanted to know how is it that I can read the most angsty things possible, thousands of words of suffering or hurt/comfort, but then your 2k words about a COAT make me cry... IN PUBLIC!
That was SO beautiful! I could feel all the significance the moment had for them both and I just couldn't help to get emotional. This is amazingly written and I did download all of your other Merlin fics by now, so don't startle if you start getting comments on a lot of old works, ok? I just have to let people know when they're amazing!

I love this! When I first watched that episode I was curious as to where that coat had come from. I had expected to see it in season 5, but nope... I love how you gave the coat a meaning, a reason for being so obvious. Thank you.
