About: Hello! Long time no see. I'm just checking on how things are going here since I last left it. I have some cleaning up to do. First of all, I have been working on my own original story since I've stopped posting here. In the time, I've planned/written out the entire series, hired an editor, and about ready to publish the first book. To find this book, you can check out Tumblr under this same name beyondmymuses.

I still want to return to my stories here and finish, however, and I'm very sorry it took this long.

With that said, I do want to let all of you know my plans.

While writing Acceptance, I'll admit I lost my passion for the story. The plot didn't feel right, so I'll have to reassess and decide if I should continue it or stop working on it all together. To those who are invested in that fic, I'll will try my hardest to make sure the former is true. Until then though, it'll remain on hiatus.

Rebirth Amongst the Flame is going to get another clean up. I don't remember how far I fixed the early chapters, but I've improved enough to be able to make it a better read. Plus, I have better tools on the editing department. Not as good as an editor, but better than nothing.

Current Work

Acceptance of Courage- Merlin. Third installment of Loyal 'Til the End/To Trust Again but can be read without. Albion was thriving, a fact that left Merlin content and Arthur bored. Yet both were more than grateful for lasting peace. Of course, Camelot was not without its troubles. Not when a patrol, sent to a distant village, returned with a disturbing report. Someone had attacked them, or more specifically, someone was hunting sorcerers.

Hiatus

Rebirth Amongst the Flames- Merlin. Ever since the battle of Camlann, Aithusa retreated away from the world and the scars it left on her since her hatching. Choosing to live her life in solitude to mourn the loss of her friend, the dragon never knew that Merlin would one day seek her out with a hand of friendship. Post-S5/Camlann.

Jessica Jones/Daredevil Fanfiction:

Just This Once- Jessica would rather forget the events following her dealings with Kilgrave. No matter what people said, she was no hero. Taking on this new case didn't change that, either.

Merlin Fanfiction:

Loyal 'Til the End- Camelot had fallen. Morgana was queen. Arthur knew these facts, but nothing worried him more than Merlin. Merlin, with golden eyes, captured during the attack, and who held dangerous knowledge of the elusive Emrys. Time was running out until Morgana found Emrys and went after Arthur. The King could only hope they could retake Camelot in time. Before his servant broke. Expanded/inspired from "The King's Broken Servant"

To Trust Again Sequel to Loyal 'Til the End. Merlin knew the time drew near for his destiny fulfillment when Arthur began the steps to unite the kingdoms of Albion in peace; but with Morgana still out on the run and the hesitance for people to accept magic, it was all the Court Sorcerer could do to remain calm. Neither did it help that the ghost of his failures continued to haunt him.

The King's Broken Servant- It has been months since Morgana took over Camelot when Arthur finally found him. Four months is a long time to be in the clutches of the witch, and now the King is left with what remains of his friend. One-shot now expanded under the name "Loyal 'Til the End"

The Talking Monkey- After a night of heavy drinking led to the destruction of the town tavern, Leon searches to reprimand Gwaine. Instead, he finds Merlin busy polishing armor while a monkey angrily watched. Leon couldn't help but question where Merlin managed to find the monkey.

Rise of the Guardians Fanfiction:

Always Believed In- Whether he knew it or not, Jack always had a believer. He had one from the very beginning for how else would the world know the name Jack Frost without a nudge, however small it was. One-Shot
