I’m a happy human️️️️️ I loved it, never would I have expected such story and creativity. Full of twist and magic that I was astonished. The friendship btwn Merlin and Arthur has many stones and bridges to cross and they made it! Happy ending and very satisfying.

Great story! And sometimes really horrifying, especially last few chapters. Violent! Many times I just open my mouth like "whaat this was unexpected". But ending was satisfying. Oh, and Agravaine, the smartest villian, his tricky plan - I feel like it could actually happen in the show and it would be awesome! Coundn't stop reading it, spend all day and all night to catch only few hours of sleeping, but that was worth it.

Holy shit. It’s been half a decade later, and I came back to a fic I didn’t ever remember reading... found it in my bookmarks and was in the mood for some Merlin whump so I figured why not... didn’t realize it was so long but I can’t say I regretted it! The writing was absolutely amazing, and I don’t know if I have read this or not but I didn’t remember it at all which made me sit down and not get up till I finished it! And it was absolutely beautiful — well written, the angst had me on my seat’s edge, the betrayal and emotions, the friendship, everything was written wonderfully! I haven’t been on this site much and I most definitely haven’t reviewed anything either, but this definitely deserved a review, even if my mind cannot even begin to process the proper words required to properly applaud this work of art! All I can say is, thank you for writing!

I literally cried and laughed in the three hour span ive spent reading this tonight. A great way to start the new decade—crying over a show that stopped airing like eight years ago. This story was so well written and thought out and your characters are so in sync with the show that im like speechless. Thank you for being talented, you have made my night.

ARTHUR YOU IDIOT! I get that you trust your uncle and don't know he's a traiter yet, but you should ask Merlin frist, if you can tell Agravaine or anyone else before you go and do it! I'm a bit mad at Arthur for that but I feel pretty bad for him too. I bet Arthur's going to feel so guity when he finds out he put Merlin in danger by telling Agravaine.
