I love both of your stories, and the one shots I have read. But this one is my favorite especially because of Princess Zoe being a sorceress and Gwen's reaction to it. I CACKLED!

Excellent continuation. Everyone still in character. I love the interaction between Merlin and Arthur now that his magic is out in the open, and both their thoughts about it. The plot was unique and engaging. The time jump was a brilliant idea. I also laughed aloud in so many places. I wish I could remember them all, but near the end I loved Arthur saying, "Alliteration. Nice." I could hear his tone perfectly :-)

I like the "everyone has magic" interpretation. I also like your statement that healers, since they are closer to nature, have a great affinity for it.

Despite Arthur needing protection, I'm assuming that at least Gwaine will accompany Merlin.
