This was a great deal of fun - you needn't have offered the preemptive apology in your A/N. (I think some of the best comedic ideas result from imminent deadlines with a side of sleep-deprivation.)

You have a talent for concise, vivid analogies (the Apparating descriptions) and well-placed adjectives/adverbs (I adored the 'it bursts into bloom a little violently' - the way that one word completely changes the visual is excellent). I also appreciated the way you balanced the crack-ish humor of the story with unusual approaches to some of the more serious or poignant things in both stories (Harry's protective charm from his mother - nice touch on how long it'd continue to protect him; Merlin's remarks to Arthur about magic vs power; Merlin and Harry bonding over how destiny can be overwhelming but one eventually grows into it). You covered a lot of ground in a short one-shot and I'm quite impressed. :) Thank you for sharing your talents!

Man, that was a really refreshing read. Cheers. I've been looking for a fic with both Arthur and Merlin in it at Hogwarts where Merlin can just flaunt himself without a care in the world. Fabulous. (Loved Arthur in this, btw)
