UPDATE: 7/7/11

This update isn't even about fanfiction... Some of you know that I have an account on fictionpress.com for my original works. Some of you may have read those works back in the day, and I feel kind of sorry for you in that case. There was a lot of immature, sappy, and frankly poorly written stuff on the old siriusfan13 page. I've decided to start fresh and create a new fictionpress page for my original works (especially since I'm working on a novel and might opt to throw some bits and pieces on there for input). My new page is under the penname: Ushiro Ryu. (Big shock, right?) Over the next few weeks, I'll be deleting some of the stories and poems from the old account and transferring them to the new one. It was a calculated decision, since it means I'll lose some lovely reviews. But I'd like to be able to keep the old page up for people who may have actually liked some of the works that I find weak, and I want the stuff I like to all be together on the other site. That's where this decision came from.

That was a lot of rambling pertaining to something that has absolutely nothing to do with fanfiction, but I just wanted to throw it out there since some of my readers once upon a time did read my original stuff...

Also, another random note, I've had offers to translate my fics or "borrow" characters or storylines a few times to use or parody. I'm totally cool with that. You're totally free to do so as long as you email me a link or something to let me see what you've done!

A note on my writing style. I'm obsessive about characters and character development. I try not to let my plots dissipate from this, but sometimes it's hard. This is one reason I practically feed on reviews. They help keep me in line. The more information in a review (even just to tell me what I screwed up on and why someone hates my story) the better. This is the only way I can correct mistakes! I love symbols and metaphor, although I don't know that I often think to use it while I'm writing... weird. I've been told by at least one reviewer that I have a minimalist style, which sounded kind of cool, and I took to be a good thing. Maybe I do. -note to self... look up "minimalist style"-

Anyway, that's enough about me. It's not like you probably want to read this bio thing anyway! And it's getting way too long, anyway.

Oh, just one more quick note. I might as well list some of what I hope to be posting in the future...

A Time for Every Purpose (Rurouni Kenshin-Another time travel fiction with Kenji)-currently in "I want to write it but I need a better plot" phase. I need to finish most of the other Kenshin fics first. Heh... Ironically, this one was what I'd originally planned "Out of Time" to be, but at the last minute I changed it to a switch between the "Kenshins" and the whole plot changed. The idea for this story came when I read Becky Tailweaver's "The Reason" (Which is excellent by the way), but this story is not intended to go along with hers, nor is it actually going to be all that similar...
