I've read this before and love it every time. Oh, and the first one as well! Felt so bad for poor, beat up Merlin. I loved the way you wrote it, as well...explaining Merlin to a newbie through flashbacks. Two great stories.

Love love love it! They were a /tad/ ooc but not really enough to hinder the story. I think this was really nice and I love it.

The only thing that made them ooc was that... well they were a lil too nice. And that the excessive dialogue explainations of how selfless Merlin is. Which isn't too bad at all, but because of that I could tell that you probably wrote this chapter once, edited and posted. So you had a rough idea of what you wanted and wrote it all in one go.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, but if you don't feel happy with you're work, a first draft would probably help! I feell that it helps keep little rants and repeating out of a chapter.
