   mizzymel chapter 4 . 1/4/2016 I'll be honest I hate first person POV fics, so I think I passed this one up the first time I came upon after reading the first paragraph. But I just read your other fics and found them to be really good and well written so I decided to give this one a try anyway. I'm glad I did. I'm still not a fan of the pov, but you write a compelling story and make it enjoyable anyway. I really like what you're doing with Merlin and Mordred here. I also like the fact that Merlin is thinking as candidly as I wished he'd done in the show. He knows the knights are arrogant, he knows they all change and I loved him pointing it out. In the show he starts off so strong and then he becomes a bit of a pansy who is willing to be a doormat. It's always infuriated me that Arthur would take his entire circle of associates whom were the same class as him and elevate them, then leave him there to be lorded over by his peers. I always wondered why nobody thought that as offensive and insulting as I did. |
