I really liked this one. I hated the way the show just skipped over how Merlin made it back to Camelot safely or if anyone even missed him! Thanks for this clarification, it's one of my favorites.

Leaving Merlin behind in that episode was inexcusable. Not acknowledging that they left him was even worse. I can't say this story fixes that mistake, because you really CAN'T fix that they left him there. But this story deals with it, and everyone learns, and for that reason I love it so much.

Poor Merlin, though! He came so close to not making it in this story! And he has such a LONG road to go still before he's our Merlin again, though I'm so happy he's home.

So, I think you need to add another cage to your Bunny farm and write a follow-up to this. Merlin finishing his healing in Camelot. Arthur and he talking, knights having a chance to say sorry. That king of thing. No, I'm not sorry for trying to give you another bunny. Not at all.

Glad to see a follow up to that ep! Always made me so annoyed that they forgot about him :(

Sounds like you are familiar with pneumonia... Just guessing by some of the details included in your story. Poor Merlin! Can't believe Mordred of all people was the one to point out his absence. I'm a bit ticked off at Gwaine, but I'm sure he feels incredibly guilty. Merlin forgives everyone every time. They don't deserve him. Loved this story!

Loved it, especially for the fact that the knights and Arthur really came through for Merlin partially out of guilt for having left him behind! Clearly that bothered you as much as it did me!
