Welp I'm dead. Is it too much to hope for an update after all these years? Probably, but I do not for one second regret reading these four beautiful chapters. You really know how to inflict the most painful feels... I started reading it in front of my family and then had to leave bc they were worried about me. I may have accidentally gasped a lot of times. Then when everyone was upset about learning that Merlin dying and he stood up to stop their arguing- I lost it. Curled in a ball and everything. My face was probably as hot as his. Anyway well done!

Ugh this is so good! Well written, intriguing story, great characters, realistic, etc. My heart dropped when I saw that the last update was in 2016. I know it's been a few years but I hope you can continue this, or at least give us one last chapter that wraps things up. I would happily take just a quick summary of plot to close the gap between the end of this chapter and the climax. I love Merlin whump and protective Arthur/knights, I just want to know how it ends!

But, even if you don't end up finishing this, it's still an amazing story none the less. You are a fantastic writer, I think you could certainly go places.

You got everyone's character perfectly. It's amazing, so sweet. And I'm so glad Gwaine, as Merlin's really good friend, was there too. I love him, and I love their friendship. Lots of people have trouble with Gwaine, picturing him as something he's not, when he's got so much potential to be great and amazing.
You even made me feel better about Arthur and Gwen together as king and queen. But at the same time you got their relationship perfect, alongside Merlin.

And Gaius knowing and helping Merlin. So cannon and realistic!

Don't get me wrong, Arthur is a great character inside, but he does need to damper his ego a bit.

This is really good writing. I love Arthur realising that he really is a pampered arrogant prick - the blanket bit was so small, yet so affective. If you are reading this, please update. It has been almost 2 years.

I think I might, just cry. I went to read chapter 5 only to see no, "next" button. That's a shame, but I really do hope there's update soon. I would love to see Arthur and Gwain reaction, when Merlin Magic comes back or when Merlin says a couple of things. That he isn't meant to.
