So my run on rant -and English teacher’s possible rapidly leaking eyes in reaction to it- aside..

Well I’m here to ask for (beg, mercì, por favor, bitte) a much needed update on a very wonderful perfect (I wish this were Canon level) story.

(I know you’re here lurking. I saw you review recently on another wonderful story that I discovered by stalking your reading lists).

So uh yeah.. that’s it. Wonderful story. (Love your politics, the life that you bring to your OCs to make them quite captivating and beloved characters of their own right, also that you base your OCs on unused but still existing characters, the background action, the world building- especially the rich history and the unnamed population characters/extras having their own stories and actions that our main characters have missed but are still impacted by, the sense of equality and justice, the no nonsense pitiful shying away from Uther’s and other characters’ faults but embracing them and acknowledging them openly). Yes. I’m quite in love. Even after a re-read months later.

So please don’t let this candle of creativity die out.

Well then, if my barrage of run on sentences and terribly corrupt use of language, cliches, repetitions and other blaring faults haven’t invoked the wrath of the Grammar Nazi in you to do something! and start writing...

Been waiting patiently for more than a year now; And now that I’ve discovered and know that you are in fact well and alive and still lurking on fanfiction dot net and also still reading Merlin and therefore still invested in his character and his world... pleaseee update!
(Gee. Longest run-on sentence I ever managed. My English teacher would be proud. Not.)

Ahhh! I NEED to know what happens. Please continue this story, its soo good! Merlin will obviously love. But is Arthur thick enough to think that Merlin will ever harm him? And what's gonna happen with the prince of dryfed? He's gonna live cause they have all those dead fire wolves, but will it be war? And what of the whole morgana/mab parts?! Please update, it's too good, and ots been too long! Dont abandon this!

Oh that last part of the chapter was awesome! I haven't chuckled like that reading a book on about a month! I was on a roll no ot reviewing and just reading, cause it has been seriously to good toput down, but that last interaction with Merlin AMD Arthur was just seriously hilarious! Cant wait to keep reado g more!

Isn't that the surname of Queen Elizabeth II's husband?

Things are coming to a head! Looking forward to Merlin waking, confronting Arthur, and some good answers and revelation coming to both. This fic certainly shows how hidden truths and lies can cause pain and dire circumstances. I feel bad for the younger set who are having to deal with the previous generation's inability to get their act together and swallow old resentments.

Wow what an intense chapter. Poor Merlin - not going to feel good when he wakes up. I am excited to read the next chapter. Great job!

Wow, Merlin sure is in a state. Back broken in 2 places plus all the other injuries. Not a good thing. Thank the heavens the dragons were able to save him.
As for Arthur. Well, what can I say. Uthers son unfortunately. Sigh.

YaY for TWO new chapters and Yikes! So much is happening. I can't wait to see how this plays out. Maybe a hurt Arthur will be an emotionally willing to think Arthur and not more of a prat than he's being right now. I'm impressed with how you keep all these characters in line and solid as individuals as by this time I've had to keep notes on who is who. Nice work with this! Thank you.

Okay, wow, I didn't pick up that Constans was still alive! I'm so glad you're still writing this story; it's one of the most carefully-thought out, creative stories in the fandom.
Quick question-could you maybe give us readers some tips on how to pronounce "Cerniw" and "Benoic?" I have a fair idea for the latter but really no idea for the former.

They need Merlin for this! Hope he wakes up soon! Neat chapter - thanks for sharing!
