Enjoyed how you had Gwaine in on Merlin's secret and the easy way that Merlin could shift between two people so he could protect Arthur and yet keep his secret in tact.

It was a fun story with tension and humor. I also liked how you kept Arthur in character as someone that could accept magical help but yet still wasn't ready to change all of his viewpoints at once. I always enjoy a good action story that mixes a healthy dose of humor. Thanks for sharing.

This is an excellent first chapter! It's so well written and it really pulled me in. The characters are spot on, and the subject is fresh and exciting.

What an amazing story! I stayed up much longer than I intended because I was so immersed. I had to read it all at once.

I love the idea of Gwaine finding out about Merlin's magic. I always thought he'd be the next person to know (from major characters) but in the end he never did. Also, the characters you introduced are all amazing. And I liked how you softened Arthur's attitude toward magic but didn't push it all the way (with Uther still around).

I'm so proud of Arthur for his decisions regarding the family! He WILL be that great king, as you said. Also, the fight was a great balance of hilarious and serious and I loved it.

Hi there! You reviewed my story this last week and, well, I find a good way to find stories that interest me is to check out the stuff of people who like mine. We tend to have a lot in common. And I wasn't disappointed!

This is a great story so far! I'm sorry I haven't reviewed every chapter, but I'm a music teacher and this Christmas season is killing me off, so I hope you'll forgive me. But I'm loving it. I think your writing is excellent, and your power of writing descriptions is awesome! So, here is kind of a summary review for the first five chapters.

I had to hold my breath while Merlin was sneaking into the camp to get the seal, and I was wondering the whole time why Merlin never bothered to learn an invisibility spell - seems like that might have been a handy thing for him to know. I knew it was gonna go wrong, and of course it did. Poor hurt Merlin.

Love the cleverness of disguising the seal! Though, how did the bandits know he was a warlock? Did they see him do the magic?

Ah, Gwaine knows! I can't help thinking this will be good for Merlin...I hope. Unless Gwaine thinks he can now get Merlin to help him with pranks. LOL
