Well, if one good thing comes out of the horrors of COVID 19 is it's got you writing again. Lovely to see a continuation of this. Guais' panic and indecision is portrayed really well. Nice to see Merlin awake and asking questions even if he is the worse for wear. Hopefully you will have time to update some of your other stories too.

Hi Veilwuarrah, how thrilling to see a new chapter. I guess the question of Balinor would have to come through at some stage. I wonder if Gaius will tell Merlin at this fragile stage of his recovery.
Seeing Gaius was very upsetting. I can understand him packing and unpacking Merlins bag. Just how does live in such fear of discovery by a paranoid King for so many years?
Anyway, loved the chapter. Hope you can maybe use this time in iso to write some more - please?

Oh, no! I didn't realize your story wasn't finished! Ahhh...I must find out what happens next after Arthur and Gaius hoodwinked Uther. I'm afraid Uther will look at Merlin again in his "I-probably-resemble-Nathan Appleby facial hair" and decide to revisit the "lower dungeons". This small addition to the castle makes total sense, especially with Uthef's history of the Purge. I found your wonderful story by following other people's favourites (Thanks LFB72 who I need to review more!). I can't believe English is your third language! I can barely speak it as my first . I hope all is well with your move to the UK, and hope you're able to update again. Thanks for refilling my cup-o-Merlin. Cheers!
