An incident in a town brings up a fact Arthur had long tried to ignore: his kingdom had a deep-seated prejudice against servants. More than that, Merlin had been involved in this cycle of abuse under Arthur's nose and he hadn't noticed.

On waking with no memory of the previous night, Merlin finds himself accused of Arthur's attempted murder. With all evidence pointing to him and no way to disprove it, Merlin must face the possibility that he is now a threat to the Once and Future King.

When Arthur is caught commissioning a birthday present for Merlin, Uther is predictably displeased. This time, however, Arthur just doesn't want to take it anymore.

Sequel to "The Prince and the Servant". Four years have passed since Merlin was forced to flee Camelot, and things have changed. Arthur is now King, Guinevere his Queen, and Camelot is recovering from a horrific war with Cenred's kingdom. And Arthur is still waiting for Merlin's return.

Set immediately after Season 4. The Great Dragon announces that it is time for Merlin to reveal himself to Arthur in order to begin the time of Albion. However, considering that Camelot comes under attack again from a very familiar sorceress, both Arthur and Merlin have their hands full. Not to mention, Emrys is the only one who can save Camelot now. What's a warlock to do?

When yet another creature attacks Camelot, Merlin is forced to reveal his powers. Unable to kill his closest friend, Arthur sends him away. What does that mean for their destiny? Not my best summary or title, but definitely worth a read.

A curse leaves Arthur completely defenseless, and an attack by Morgana requires Merlin to take swift action. Will having his secret revealed make saving the kingdom easier for Merlin, or impossible?
