Really beautiful piece. The bromance was just outstanding, in that quiet, subtle way that often makes it better. Arthur standing up to his father was done wonderfully, I especially LOVED that Uther, at the end, understood that his son's happiness was more important than what he saw fit.

The DRAGON! You couldn't have picked a better gift even if you tried! The fact that Arthur thought Merlin had a 'collection' was breathtakingly sad but so very brilliant! And the mention of the puppy...it had me melting. Just...fantastic, fantastic job with this! :D

Wow... this was fantastic. I love your style of writing - very smooth, to-the-point and elaborate. I liked how you portrayed Arthur in this, and Uther too. Their interactions were very believable, and the ending was perfect because Uther was still so detached even whilst apologising.

This was great, I've always wanted to see Arthur stand up to his dad like this. By the way, nice choice of song. I think that 'you hough you were there to guide me' fits the story a little better though :) nice work .
