What a ride! This story has certainly aged well; it was excellently written. I felt so many emotions and stresses that made the story real to me. And I felt a satisfactory amount of closure from the ending although sequels were clearly intended (if you ever do get around to writing those, I will be pleased to read them!). It makes little difference that it was published 7 years ago; every moment was meaningful, and I'm glad I read this story. Well done, friend! I hope you are faring well in your personal endeavors as well!

This was a great story. A very interesting spin on the tale we all know and love. I particularly like how you managed to build a world that is perfectly placed to foster the same characters we are already familiar with from the show.
I also like your "story-in-a-story" setup. It's one I don't normally see in fanfiction, but a classic storytelling tool.
Really great work, I can't wait to read the other bits!

Do you happen to know when the sequel might be up, and where it might be posted? I really enjoyed this take on the Merlin series, and I love your descriptive writing style. I was able to empathize with all of the characters, and I loved the way you depicted all of the separate relationships between all of them. I hope you keep writing, no matter the subject. You seem to have a good talent for it.
