Author has written 17 stories for Pokémon, Kim Possible, That '70s Show, Warhammer, How to Train Your Dragon, and Harry Potter. I'm a man, I am in my early twenties and I am a qualified Analytical Chemist. I am just not employed as one. Or anything. I made this account to post some AAML stories I wrote since I've kind of become addicted to them. Whenever I get the inspiration to write I do. Sometimes the result is good, sometimes it's not so good. Since joining this site I have not only come to enjoy AAML fics but also Kim Possible (KP/RS shipping is awesome), Jak and Daxter (Jak and Keira), That 70's show (EF/DP), the Elder scrolls, How to Train Your Dragon (Hiccup and Astrid) and Castle (Caskett and Kev/Jenny) fics as well. I will occasionally venture into the Dresden Files or Codex Alera part of this site but there's not a lot. And a lot of what there is is slash with awful summaries. I will not touch that. It's a shame, Jim Butcher is pretty much my favourite author, in competition with Terry Pratchet and Patrick Rothfuss. I also enjoy some Buffy fics, particularly if they ship Buffy/Willow. I know it's a completely nonsensical pairing that has no basis in canon but everyone needs to support one of them right? I mean look at KIGO. At least Buffy and Willow are friends and one of them is gay. So, question? Is the disclaimer thing really necessary? I mean, we're posting stories on a site called FAN FICTION .net. Isn't kind of obvious that we don't own anything? If I invent an OC I'll say so but other than that do we need disclaimers? As a rule I will reply to every signed in review I get. I do not review as much as I should but I try. I have a tumblr account now. Vondrakenhof Pokémon: A Cerulean Reunion, Density and Hungover were all written out of frustration that Misty left the show and that Ash never aged. I mean I remember when I first got into pokemon as a kid, I was about 8 years old at the time. So when I revisited it at a much older age and found it as it is now I turned to fanfiction. I don't regret it at all. I'm currently writing Back Around Again a fic where Ash takes on the Kanto League again. None of the above stories are canon to it but the essence of Density is there. I will finish Back Around Again. I started it, I will finish it. And it will be an awesome ride. (I hope). This story is not abandoned. I'm just suffering from a severe case of writer's block. To prevent this from happening again, I will not post anything until I am several chapters ahead in this story. Shippings I support: Pokeshipping. Brock and any female who wasn't a travelling companion. (The guy deserves some love.) Handymanshipping. (Because Tracey deserves some too.) Appealshipping. (Don't ask me why) Shippings I don't support: Any ship that pairs Ash or Misty with anyone other than each other. (Especially Advanced, Pearl, Pallet, Gym, Boulder, Orange or Ego.) Cavaliershipping. (Gary's too old for Dawn.) Kim Possible: I recently got into Kim Possible and decided to write about it. KP/RS all the way. The First Time, Legal Talk at Dinner and A Week Without Ronshine are all written within the same continuum. They represent how I think of Kim and Ron and ideally are a frame of reference for future fics. You know, if I ever get around to writing them. I'm actually writing one now. A Sidekick's Duty is (ideally) the first in a trilogy. I have big plans. Whether I can write them or not is the question. (This got left behind.) The Templar and the Shaman as a crossover stands alone. So does Kim Possible: Monster Hunter, a crossover with Capcoms Monster Hunter game series. (These two are on hold indefinitely.) That 70's Show: I only ever wrote A Last Hope because I was bothered about the lack of resolution in the episode "A New Hope". I enjoyed writing it though. How to Train Your Dragon: I first watched the movie when it came out and thought it was good. Then a few months ago I got hired to be an extra for the upcoming History Channel show "Vikings" which got me into all things Viking and I decided to watch it again. And I became obsessed. I liked the dynamic between Hiccup and Astrid so I wrote Hunted. Then I came across a pretty nasty piece of info on Vikings and wrote the Blood Eagle. A note to all readers of The Blood Eagle: I put the warning there for a reason. Please don't leave an anonymous review telling me I'm going to hell for writing such a disturbing fic. One, I don't believe in hell. Two, they're fictional characters. Three, I know it's messed up, but that doesn't give you the right to try to make me feel like shit. Warning: Some or all of the above may have been written while under the influence of alcohol. The author is from Ireland after all. He may have been talking out of his behind. In fact, it's likely. Some of this has been edited while under the effects of several containers of Bulmers Irish Cider. Good stuff. |
