Author has written 28 stories for Kim Possible, Firefly, and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. Hi, y'all. I'm 36 years old, and live in NYC. I pay high rent for a small room, but some things are worth it, and NYC is one of them. They say that everyone in New York is an actor - they're just being waiters, bus drivers, and stock brokers until they can make it on Broadway. That's not entirely true - in my case, I'm just working in this law firm until I can make it as a writer. I've been a writer ever since I learned how to hold a pen - and before that, I was always begging any nearby adults to read to me. I've always loved the Stories. I actually started writing fanfic relatively recently. Buffy the Vampire Slayer was the first show that I loved enough to write stories for, and even then I didn't start until Season 4, when I realized that certain crucial issues from as far back as Season 2 (the Lie and Dead Man's Party, to name just two) were never going to be dealt with on the show. I couldn't very well let that stand. I've slowed down a bit on that fandom since the shows ended, though I still do have a few stories to tell. The stories I've already written - the ones that fit under the guidelines, anyway - will be posted here soon. More recently, I've discovered the Disney Show, Kim Possible. Ironically, although I'd seen a few episodes before, it was the finale that truly caught my attention. As a fan of the Joss Whedon ouevre, I'm just not used to a genuine Happy Ending, where two characters who are clearly Meant For Each Other finally get together, with no hints of future catastrophe. My heart melted on the spot, and now I can't get enough. It's been a while since I've updated, and I'm beginning to worry that my Kim Possible library might be a bit hard to follow if you haven't been with me since the very beginning. So, to help the newbie, a timeline: Blood Bond, Blood Omen - Takes place before the series begins, when Kim and Ron are 14 and just entering High School Instructions - Takes place during Mind Games Three Weeks After Emotion Sickness - Takes place when it says it does Dumb as a Brick - Takes place immediately after So the Drama Faramir, Blood Bond II, Blood Bood III, Ink, and Thunderheads on the Horizon - all take place between Dumb as a Brick and Bleeding Out. Counterintuitively, BBII actually takes place after BBIII, but you can read them in either order. The rest take place in no particular order at all. Bleeding Out Another Room In the Hospital - Takes place during chapter 3 of Bleeding Out Beauty Marks - The day after Chapter 5 of Bleeding Out School Supplies - Between Chapters 5 and 6 of Bleeding Out How an Old Pro Would Handle It - During Chapter 6 of Bleeding Out Side-Effects of Treatment - Immediately After Chapter 8 of Bleeding Out Bleeding Through Second-String HeroesRuns parallel to Bleeding Through. Most chapters don't correspond to specific moments within Bleeding Through, but it's important to know that chapter 5 of SSH is between chapters 12 and 13 of BT Love of A Lifetime - a stand-alone. No connection to my other stories whatsoever. Don't panic. Thoughtful Gifts and Little Girls Grow UP - Also stand-alones. Hope that helps. By the way, if there are any artists out there who find these stories interesting, I'd like to hear from you. My own artistic ability is pretty much limited to stick figures, but I would really love to see some of the more visually interesting scenes from some of my stories somewhere other than my head. Recently, I've discovered that the site I'd been linking to as the archive of my Buffy stories has closed down. No real surprise; it hadn't been updated since 2004. I'll be posting as many stories here as I can, but I ask you all for a bit of mercy: they're all fairly old (written when the shows were still running), and they're probably rougher than you're used to from me. Please keep that in mind when you read them. If anybody's interested in some of my original work, check out the link below: |
