This story is just...wow. I can not wait to read the sequel and find out what happens. The writing is well done, the character development is astounding, and you add in the suspense perfectly.

On hindsight, Kim should have been dealing with enough thugs, organized criminals, terrorists and dictators to have risked going through gang rape, revenge on family, suicidal bombing, and the likes. I think we're just going to assume that she somehow magically comes out on top. It's not like we're expecting that cheerleading skill would ever be useful in a fight, or a double-somesault spinnning snap kick would hit its target.

Great story, I usually comment about when other write ratchet up the stakes of violence with the bad guy where torture, family kidnapping attempted murder even rape is involved.

I never understand how they impose moratlity in the middle battle we some corny Ron are KP thou shall not kill. However the way you approach is dead on and I realized it's a testament of your story telling skills. It makes sense when Kim save she took the nanonites so she could save Shego. Just like it makes sense for Ron to go on an angry vengeful rampage.

Side Kick in trouble? This supposedly is after Diablo there are syntho-drones attacking the school Shego is out for blood and Ron's head is not in the game.

If Felix and Bonnie can take out a syntho-drone each I would think Ron would be concentrating on getting rid of as many as possible, not playing with food. While you were describing students fighting I was confused why was Ron not laying a beat down.

I'm impressed. Chapter 8 was tastful and elegantly handled, Chapter 9 manages to both confirm suspicions and create new ones.

Do you mind if I ask what authors have inspired you? Because I sense familiar themes in your writing (though, of course, with your unique flair and take on these characters).

Overall, a well written, well paced and well done piece of fiction that stands toe to toe with (and heads above some of) any fictional work on the Market right now. If not for copyright laws, this piece could have been bound, sent on its way to the publishers and marketed years ago.

I make this observation-many of the fic’s written in 2005at least that I read-were written post-StD. Characteristically, they depict Ron as being a little more confident and proficient in fighting. This would be a reasonable assumption in the light of his boyfriend status and his mano-a-mano with Erik. The 4th season seemed to backpedal. Sometimes he even looked more Ron-nish than before. This could be due to continuing one of the show’s basic themes-his comparative lack of skill as opposed to Kim.
