| tpel chapter 1 . 7/14/2016 "Characters discover slash fanfic" is a subgenre I've seen before. Usually it is silly; sometimes it is amusing. Yours is wonderful. Of course it is funny as hell, but what I really like about the story is how spot-on the characterizations are. Ivy is remote, but with hints of little-girl. Kincaid is unflappable . . . but is nevertheless squicked out by his charge reading "unfounded and disturbing porn", particularly if it involves him. You've captured the sweetness of their relationship beautifully. |

Also, the Archive's power of Faerie Lady range, not Queen. We think. No one knows her upper limits, which is terrifying, when you realize that beyond the Archive, she has no abnormal magical capabilities. Imagine of she was a wizard...*shivers* Yeah, she's got the same magical capacity as Butters and every other mortal in the Dresdenverse. Imagine if she could somehow share that knowledge. Rest of universe fucked. |
