i just binge read this story today i couldnt stop thank you so much it was perfect. the only thing i feel bad about is gary but i do agree he would become the cocky assinine guy if this scenario happened. thank you!

This chapter was a mess. Come on, a Psyduck being able to control two fully evolved Pokemon—one being a psychic-type—with confusion and psychic? I was looking for a battle which proved that Ash is superior to Gary despite Gary always telling him otherwise. I was looking for a battle which proved that Misty isn't as dim witted as Daisy makes her out to be. This plot armor involving Psyduck simply doesn't convince me that their win proves just that. I can't take their victory seriously when the method in which it was achieved is not plausible at all.

Not only that, but Ash is still playing up Misty's skills? Describing Dewgong's comeback as "nothing short of amazing" is kind of ironic, considering the numerous times Ash has had moments like that. And Dewgong had only been struck twice prior to its "comeback"... Seemed like a bit of a stretch in order to create a moment between Ash and Misty.

... I also love that when Infernape was knocked out due to Dewgong's ice shard reflecting the solarbeam, Misty just smiled at Ash. What's up with her?
