Oh, this is adorable and sweet and really really good.

Really beautiful, especially the note you ended it on being Astrid's insight on the scene from HTTYD2. I had very similar thoughts about that. I loved Astrid's mom with her talk, ha! And Fishlegs with his analytics.

. . . The whole fic is great, but that ending is flat amazing. Though I reeeaaaaally wish there'd been some sort of SOMETHING to that effect of what she's thinking there in 2 itself, as opposed to just the continual reassurances that 'you'll be great' and the like. The other thing is that even in that final scene you represent it as if they're still not wed, but I thought I remembered during the race when Astrid starts taking the lead/or something awesome she pulls Stoick exclaiming something happily about how 'that's his daughter-in-law!' The impression I'd gotten from 2 was that somewhere between the end of the tv show and 2 Astrid and Hiccup had gotten married, and that it just. . . hadn't been made a deal of in the film for some god-knows-why reason. Perhaps I am mistaken however. . . Either way, fic was great, theme was fun, and I loved each of the scenes and how they developed, most especially that last one.

I have to admit i thought i wasnt gonna enjoy this but i was wrong. Very good.

Aw, this was great! Sweet, romantic, and funny, with a nice amount of clever detail, and good entry into the characters' psyches. Well done. I hope you write more in this 'verse.

This was a wonderful buildup of their relationship up until the memorable point in the second movie. I really loved Astrid's progression of thought in that last scene; you captured her perfectly. My favourite bit had to be when Fishlegs mentioned Hiccup's percentage. Well done!

This story was nice and well written, I also really like the bit with Astrid's mum aswell
