Author has written 13 stories for Night World series, Greek Mythology, and Harry Potter. Hello. I like to write. Thank you to my readers. I will hopefully cross-post my stories over to AO3 eventually, as I like their metadata system a bit more. For some time I've realized that my fanfictions are deeply problematic. They were written by an immature girl with little understanding of gender equality or healthy relationships. I know they ought to be corrected somehow, but I'm not quite sure how to do so while preserving the plots. Part of me is strongly tempted to simply delete the romance of The Painted Past, and just save the Weasley-Potter antics, but that's not fair to the readers who do enjoy the Hermione I've written, as immensely flawed as she is. Then again, it feels irresponsible to leave such a messed up fanfic up to possibly influence impressionable young readers? Yes. It is. But until I figure out how to fix it, I think I'll keep it up. The same with Vague Verity, and Frozen Fire. I don't know how I thought the dynamic between the couples I've written were okay, other than the fact that the couples I viewed as "normal" during my childhood I've since learned are wildly dysfunctional and unhealthy. So I hear the criticism loud and clear. I thank you for it, unless you were real self righteous dickheads about it, in which case go lick Satan's butthole idc. |
