Even if Wormquake eased my Donnie and Casey bromance feels a little bit, the episode was nowhere near as satisfying as this one-shot.
I really enjoyed this! It's dynamic, with rich descriptions, fair interpretations of the characters and just plain fun!

This was nicely done. I, too, am not a huge fan of the dynamic between Casey and Donatello at present; personally, I view Donnie as too mature/intellectually developed to stoop to what is essentially a pissing contest for April's affection. I much prefer to think that while he wouldn't necessarily be thrilled about April seeing Casey, he would understand that Casey can give her what he cannot- a semblance of a normal life. Though (in my mind) Donnie is the better man, there are inherent limitations to his relationship with April. And though he loves her, I highly doubt he would allow April to move to the sewers just so they could be together long term.

I liked your storyline here. Methinks Leo paried them up for the very reason that they needed to work through their issues and though it nearly cost Don his life, it worked out. I have a feeling that, in time, Don and Casey's relationship will become more warm...it just might take some time. Overall, your writing was fairly well-done, the plot was solid, and the execution was strong. Very nice work!
