Wonderful little character study. I love how you worked Fred in as well. The ending was especially sweet w/ all of them headed out together. I just love the trio plus Neville, Ginny & Luna. Good job!

Gosh, they're all perfect. Harry would correct everyone about the details to give credit where he felt it was due, Ron and Ginny would call on Fred to inspire them in such a situation, and Neville should definitely grow up to be exactly as you've written him. Hermione and Luna are beautifully written as well, of course.

just wanted to put a word in on how much I've been enjoying these little snippets of yours - the characterizations are always believable, each incident speckled with simple detailing that sets the action firmly in JK's world. I have never liked Ginny more. I didn't really care either way for her in the books, which of course when you're talking about a love interest tends to evolve into a begrudging dislike, but your emphasis on her scars and her description of Griffyndors and "folded up like a collapsible umbrella" are just wonderful. Great format too.

This was really really good. I have often thought of what happened after the fight but my conclusions are still quite vauge... this was a little hard to understand at first but after that it was very good and even probable... another thing; interesting thought, wizards drinking coffee...
