Hi! I now have two stories that I usually forget about. Sorry if you're waiting for another chapter; updates for both will be sporadic at best, basically whenever I get off my lazy butt and write.

Hetalia Shipping Drabbles

Exactly what the title says. Most of the pairings are heterosexual because I have no experience with homosexual relationships and I'd rather not butcher something I don't understand. This means there is rampant genderbending. Sorry if this offends you.

John Wolf

This is a story in the Potterverse that was born of a rabid plot bunny that wouldn't leave me alone. Characters will be OOC because some(the main character) have very different backgrounds while the others change due to influences that were not there in the canonverse. Please don't complain about OOC characters after the first couple of years because after the first and some of the second year, they are going to be different while also trying to keep the traits that made them so loveable in the first place. Also, I need Britpickers as I am an ignorant American. Constructive criticism is welcomed with open arms, flames are not.

OFFICIALLY DEAD, FEEL FREE TO STEAL IT. Though I do ask that you let me know.

Reasons: I long ago lost interest, it's rather cringey, and I have no idea where I was going with it.

UPDATE: GOOD NEWS, EVERYONE! I've got my files back!

Also, I have a Zootopia fic that will probably someday be moved to the Folder of Shame. It's kinda cringe worthy. Should I post it and let everyone laugh and tear it to shreds?

I forgot what the Zootopia fic was, but here, have a quote about life according to my brother, "Growing up isn't about how old you are, it's about your levels of cynicism."

I have branched into Zootopia with a confusing drabble that I wrote ages ago. It is either deliberately ambiguous or lazy - take your pick - and the others mentioned are, for now and possibly forever, filler characters that are nothing more than names and lines. Have fun.

There are two more in the same general style - that is, all/mostly dialogue - that could go up if people like this. They feature Clawhauser as one of the characters along with OCs that are only there for him to have someone to interact with. If you want to place the longer one in some sort of timeline, you can place it in you head as "When he was still a patrol cop." The other on is a short little four-line exchange that is just a snatch of banter.

Two other unfinished Zootopia stories - 1) post apocalyptic cesspool and 2) angsty and dark acid trip insanity.

I now have a RWBY story up. Currently there is just the one chapter as I wanted to get it out there, but there are three more written and waiting in the wings. I just want to have most of it written before I even think about releasing more chapters so that it doesn't go the way of John Wolf and Hetalia Shipping Drabbles. Hopefully it's better than that tripe too.

Miners Cut and Other News

Miners Cut is finished. There is a sequel titled Diamond in the Rough.

This project is admittedly likely a precursor to an odd idea semi-inspired by the RWBY Loops and by Mahade Crawford's Reincarnation and Tricky Thing on . What is similar about these three stories? Well, other than the fact that they are unfinished, they all include characters who remember past lives. My idea does not, however, include such widespread crossovers and there is only one loop for each character.

This got its start with imagined snark from Oscar to Ozpin before I realised Oscar as he is in the show would not be quite so difficult. But an adult in the body of a child having to share a much older adult in the exact same situation, especially one that wants to lead said child into danger? Stir and serve cold, my friends, stir and serve cold.

If I take off with this idea, there will be a backstory written for each AU character included in the idea affectionately titled Chaos. They are as follows: Blake, Jaune, Mercury, Neptune, Nora, Oscar, Pyrrha, Ren, Ruby, Sun, Weiss, Yang.

Since I would be writing a backstory for each of them, no one can cry Out Of Character (OOC (This acronym used to confuse the hell out of me. I had absolutely no idea what it meant.))! MWA HA HA HA! And it's also fun to imagine the different ways they might develop when placed in different situations. Some will be from worlds very similar to canon except for a few differences. Two will be from a world that is not recognizably Remnant. Since one of the worlds in question will most definitely not be Remnant and has powers tied to the spirit/soul/whatever you want to call it, and the spirit/soul/whatever you want to call it is the thing crossing into other worlds...

The other world will be very similar to ours for reasons that I shall not yet divulge.

And three will actually not have reincarnated, but are rather stemming from an idea that basically consists of, "Hey, what if Remnant used to be Earth in the distant path?" I think you can guess which three characters.

I know the idea is rather cringy, but I'm hoping that I can pull it off if I manage to write it well enough. Here's to hoping this won't be a total train wreck.

Diamond in the Rough

This be the second arc in Ruby's story - because no matter who's point of view a given section is in, it is still ultimately Ruby's story.

I originally planned to have Miners Cut and Diamond in the Rough be the same story however it ended up getting cut in two. There is going to be another part after Diamond in the Rough, tentatively called Reforging, that will deal with more canonish events. These two stories are just setting the stage. They are the explanation, but they also deserve to be told rather than mentioned in passing because it happened, and it matters.

Diamond in the Rough will reveal what happened to Yang, but she is not central. She is merely a presence, though she will be a character in the story after Diamond in the Rough

Let us hope that this turns out well written. Cross your fingers.

Diamond in the Rough is not dead. I just have been swallowed by fanfiction and then there was the thing where I left my plans at home while I went on vacation. Sorry everyone. I have decided that I probably won't post any more chapters until the whole thing is finished.

In other news, Interdimensional Hopscotch is a part of what I'm calling the Chaos universe, which Miners Cut and Diamond in the Rough are a precursor to. The oneshots contained within have been retconned by some reconfiguring of my Ozpin's timeline, but it is still a funny read.

The sequel to Diamond in the Rough, aka the Beacon Arc, has a name. It will be called Fissure Filling. Definition I found online for what that is: Fissure filling is a treatment that improves the apparent clarity of a gemstone by removing air and replacing it with a Substance that has a refractive index similar to the host material. Fissure filling is commonly applied to gems such as emerald or ruby. Some fissure filled gemstones have special care requirements.

Refractive index - a dimensionless number that describes how light propagates through that medium. The refractive index determines how much the path of light is bent(refracted) when entering a material.

I thought it was a fitting name.

Also, Mercury has been replaced as one of my twelve characters with Bolin Hori of team ABRN from the Vytal Festival Arc in the show. The best part of this is the fact that he is a blank slate. I can have as much fun as I want. Let's hope I don't go too crazy.

People are probably wondering about ships. Yes, there will be ships. Yes, they have already been determined. No, I will not be telling what they are. Just because a ship appears in one of the build up stories, does not mean it will appear in the main story and vice versa. I will say that I am keeping to heterosexual ships because that's what I'm familiar with and I do not want to offend anyone with a false and/or insensitive portrayal or other relationships.

I'M BACK.

Diamond in the Rough is back on, and Chaosverse has been expanded in my head. There are now seven adult characters other than Ozpin that have been reincarnating, Remnant used to be Earth, some ancient gods have survived (Greco-Roman in particular), and all of the ancients hate the Brothers.

The characters that will be getting their own stories are now as follows: Team RWBY, Team JNPR, and Oscar. All the stories already have names, only Yang's is planned out after Ruby's, and I am probably going to slowly drive myself insane with this project.

Also, some characters will have daemons from His Dark Materials. This has to do with reincarnation for the initial characters, then genetics for the rest. Don't worry, I'm bewildered too. This has snowballed to amazing proportions.

Anyway, back to Diamond in the Rough, I am going to update hopefully once a day, though I don't have a schedule planned out. At the very least, it should be finished before the end of this year.
