Damn... amazing!
Guest chapter 43 . 6/9
And to the turd reviewer on the 28th with a bone to pick about the timeline of Hiccups diary: maybe Hiccup heard about his mother's beliefs from a villager, clearly the whole village knew her before she disappeared. Learn to suspend your disbelief. YOU are the reason so many fics go unfinished, because authors are human and creativity on a schedule is exhausting and everyone is SICK TO DEATH of your righteousness. Go pound sand.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH
Guest chapter 33 . 6/9
This story is just everything I hope for in fanfics! I'm just so sad to read your authors notes, about how difficult the time has been, and Im angry at everyone who made you feel worse. No one could have blamed you for abandoning this work, it's AMAZING and superhuman that you didn't. Your dedication is incredible, and we all owe you a huge debt for it. Thank you so very much for this story.
Guest chapter 10 . 6/7

Pableroski chapter 43 . 6/8

As you have written before, I'm going to write my review in my native language (Spanish) and then I'll leave you below my own traduction so you could read it easily.

[ENGLISH]

It's not my native language but I'm going to try my best. If I could understand your story from the beginning until the end, I can do this one.

So, I loved the story. Everything is well organized and have a purpose in your text. I would say the final battle was more predictably than I expected (I thought you would kill Stoic or maybe Gobber) but I like how it ended. For me, one of the best things are your final thoughts about Astrid been the one who really changed Berk, although I do not agree with you that that was the finality for Astrid theme in that last scene. For me, her theme shows change, evolution, another way to do the things. She realised dragons weren't the enemy. So they used it in the last scene to represent that change, but this time not only on her, but the whole village. But I understand your reasons too.

I can't forget about Gobber. It's my favourite secondary character, and for me, the best of your story. His best moment, it wasnt when he realised Hiccup was the Dragon Master. For me, it was when he scolded Hiccup in the middle of the battle when he realised Hiccup didn't do his job with the jail a long time ago. It was hilarious.

Finally, I would like to thank you for this magnificent story. A lot of time has passed since I read a story that made me want to know more and even more. I have missed that sensation so much and thanks to you I have re-discovery it. That mix of feelings (fear, treason, courage, hopelessness, romanticism...) had awakened that feeling in my again.

The only objetion I could put onto your job is the lack of connection between some specific chapters. I'm talking about that one that ended with Hiccup asking Gobber for help because he had a plan. But the plan was never specified later (or I think so).

I'm proud of you, not because of the story but also your determination to finish it at any price. I know how hard is to keep going with one story such a long time you didn't update it, and even more when people start criticising you because this or the other. I personally think we write for fun, to entertain ourselves, and we write our story as we want because it's ours. And if someone likes it, fantastic, you would have made one person happy, but it's not an obligation, it's just, like you said, a baby that is growing, and we raise it as we think is better for him.

If you didn't understand, please send me an email or something and I'll glad to explain to you

Redstoo chapter 40 . 4/30
Oof! Now I know what had happen to Hiccup leg, it still lay somewhere on dragon island until today.
Redstoo chapter 15 . 4/28
Thank you for sharing us with this information but the chapter with uh ... you know, I mean I like it but put some real life materials just too op. All I trying to say is it turn me on in the wrong time in history but smut is smut as long is erotic it fine to me (no rapeabuse, I hate it).
Redstoo chapter 13 . 4/28
This chapter is depressed and I have alot of things to process. I hated it when it about angts. By the way Hiccup haven't met his mother yet so the line in his diary was make no scen.
Redstoo chapter 5 . 4/27
Oh for the love of purenest! You have to drag the book to this like doesn't my favorite film of all time get some M rated contexts you bring the book series now. Sure the drawing in the book of Big Bertha's chest was big but it a kids book. Holy hell anywhere I go I got scars for life, this is the price for knowing too much.
D4rK Sid3 chapter 43 . 4/17
This was a fantastic trip and perhaps one of the best HTTYD fics I've read.

Job well done.
