Dumbledore's explanation of magic is interesting but it either shows that the education sucks or Harry is a complete idiot. Thinking of canon, both explanations are probably correct. The 'what is potions' talk make potions an empty subject which requires another subject to analyze it.

Hopefully Harry can figure out that Dumbledore doesn't actually know very much about horcrux. Can you make an accidental horcrux? Do you decide how many to make on day one? How come Riddle didn't have his wraith form in a backup body in 1982?

You took 82 chapters to tell a story that should have been told in 40. You had entire chapters that were utterly irrelevant to the plot, did nothing to develop characters, or do anything in fact except pad things out and waste the reader's time.

Now, technically, you're an incredible writer. You know how to write. But you wasted time. You broke the first commandment.

And then, finally, when you got to the point and you didn't have your characters verbally masturbating at each other, you abandoned the tale.

Its a shame.

Butmy sadness asidethis is a PHENOMENAL story. This is my second time reading it and I don't have words to express how brilliantly imagined and richly crafted your story is.
I love the plot twists, the way you've integrated so many side characters giving them all their own arc, how every character feels so real and crispit's a brilliant piece of work and I applaud you for it.

Shame that this story seems to be abandoned, right near the end too. This has to be one of the betters ones that I’ve read.

This in fact is the hardest thing to believe about the original storyline too: that suddenly, after YEARS of dealing with the git, Hermione couldn't believe that Draco Malfoy would become a Death Eater. Granted that it's hard to imagine a snivelling little wriggler becoming an icon of terror, but surely the girl had heard of 'the banality of evil,' and knew that the darkest and most malevolent people were almost always also the most pathetic and miserable.

Wow, you really brought out precisely why Hermione is such an IRRITATING character.

I don't understand why you felt the need to psycho-analyze the chapter at the end...
It's either the reader reads and understands wat is written, (granted there are a few places I had to go back and re-read to understand).
Or they read and don't understand in which case they shouldn't even be reading...
Your commentary, aka Authors Notes at both beginning and end of each chapter is of no consequence except to add to the word count

Seriously not only was she tortured, but dark magic mind wipe and her sister not so subtlety talking about not loosing her mind... let me guess the dark magic will deteriorate her mind... on top of that she got pregnant from rape...

What 2-4 more chapters and the story would most likely be done... why?
