seldombites chapter 15 . 2/18 I'm really enjoying this story. Is it abandonded or just on hiatus? |
daisycb chapter 9 . 12/29/2019 The last sentence is why I prefer fanfiction over the books, especially a Harry who takes no shit from anybody. (Please pardon my language, I don't mean to be offensive) |
DragonTamer01 chapter 9 . 8/21/2019 So far, I have not found ONE CHAPTER where you have been nice to Hermione. As such, I am really not enjoying this collection so far. |
GunsAndMagic chapter 15 . 3/25/2019 This series is amazing! I love it! |
Kai chapter 4 . 8/8/2018 They won't find books with the information about the snake fitting the facts. There are a couple of angles to observe to come to that conclusion. - Hermione is an intelligent bookworm. She knows how to do research. Going from general books to specialised books to find exactly what she needs. - Within a week of the attack on Mrs. Norris she was told by Binns about the monster in the Chamber of Secrets. Meaning, the petrifaction is the result of a monster attack and not a spell or potion. - According to hp-lexicon Hermione was petrified on May 8th. That's almost exactly six months after the initial attack, when Hermione started researching. - It's SALAZAR SLYTHERIN's chamber. He was famous for being able to talk to snakes. His house symbol is a snake. What's the probability that the monster is some kind of giant man-eating squirrel? - Immediately before the attack Harry, who has been found out to be a Parselmouth as well in the mean time, heard something, Hermione and Ronald didn't. Some kind of squirrel perhaps? - The reasonable research material would be a general monster book, and that leading to a book about magical snakes. Hermione wasn't able to find a monster book in over six months. - The RL published "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is made up as if it was Harry's personal copy. In it Dumbledore wrote the foreword that said "this book HAS to be in EVERY household, this book is the minimum of knowledge EVERYONE needs to know about animals" or so. - The page that Hermione has in her petrified hand is NOT from that book but the content about the basilisk is the same. - The beast in the chamber must be about thousand years old. - There's only one snake beast, even called "King of Snakes", which would make it just more interesting for Slytherin, in that book that's known for growing over 900 years old. - So, if Hermione doesn't FIND an absolute standard book that describes the beast perfectly in over six months then there IS no standard book. As it is called "the absolute minimum standard" by Dumbledore himself and as Hermione DOES find out about the beast after that time it is not possible that there WAS a book before that time. - That means whole shelf metres of animal books were removed immediately after, or even before the attack on Hallowe'en, only to be put back when it was opportune. Or they were not put back and it took Hermione so long to find the one book that was misplaced and overlooked when the others were taken out. - Who at Hogwarts has the power to limit ALL knowledge about a topic for months at a time and take ALL reference material from the library to prevent current problems to be researched? I readily admit that I despise Dumbledore and that I'm a big fan of manipulative, even murdering Dumbledore caught in the act. I also admit that my conclusion is just conspiracy nutter stuff, and that Rowling most probably just didn't think about the ramifications of what she wrote, Potterverse is famous for its abundance of plot holes after all. But my conclusion is that Dumbledore KNEW exactly what the monster was, as the facts do fit just the one beast. And that he actively tried to prevent Hermione in particular or students in general to find out what it is. I just wonder if he stole all those OWL students' textbooks who had "Care of Magical Creatures" to prevent THEM from getting it... |
Nyumun chapter 15 . 7/29/2018 Continuaras? |

XxFanFicObsessedxX chapter 15 . 3/3/2018 Can you do a couple chapter where Harry tells of Dumbledore, Hermione, Ron, Sirius, and Remus... I only say Sirius and Remus because they had a responsibility to look after and take care of Harry and they failed. Now don't get me wrong I love Sirius and Remus I just think that they didn't give Harry that much thought... |
DarkViolet7258 chapter 15 . 12/29/2017 loved the comments about potion |
Vkw10 chapter 15 . 12/19/2017 Good story. I can just see Harry pointing out that contaminated bones don't belong in potions. Almost as good as limiting Hermione's reading to make her release that Winky likes cleaning. |
SeraNeko-chan chapter 15 . 11/8/2017 Please, never ever give up on this story! it's amazing, witty, funny enough to make my whole year good and I simply cannot get enough! |

KuroHinata chapter 15 . 10/11/2017 Thank you for posting a rational wizard who uses some common sense/using all resources he has/not forgetting any small things he can use for his and other's benefits. I wish there are more wonderful chapters and if I can find similar HP fanfics that are fully written as complete stories. If anyone can recommend a few HP or HP xover pls PM me. I'm currently waiting on standby waiting for the authors generous updates. Thanks in advance. |
