Guest chapter 38 . 7/19 wow |
carerra.hughes chapter 38 . 7/19 Holy shit... What the hell have I just read? This was crazy! Very interesting style of writing, and completely unique plot wise. Job well done! |
elithior chapter 10 . 7/16 Yeah, great writing, but the storyline is just too far out there for me. Way too much OOC. Good luck with future endeavors! |
Serennos chapter 38 . 7/7 Brilliant storyline along with the characterisation, banter, irony and humour. Thoroughly entertaining. Thank you. |
Serennos chapter 11 . 7/6 Didn’t see that coming! |
Serennos chapter 8 . 7/6 This story is compelling. You’ve really added weight to the suffering of Hogwarts pupils who were ‘left behind’ and how they remain haunted by the trauma. |
Serennos chapter 1 . 7/6 Excellent start. The alternative perspective is intriguing. |
katey1018 chapter 38 . 7/1 Holy Hell. I periodically check your profile for new complete stories, and missed this somehow until now. jfc I'm obsessed. I love the 2nd person POV for Neville. I love hermione's characterization (which I do in all your stories tbh) and theo and just ugh. I feel like everytime you write a new fic its just exactly what I'm hoping for. |
beccasullivanwrites1 chapter 38 . 6/29 Excellent piece! |
GusGus2084 chapter 1 . 6/23 Love! |
slythxrinqueen chapter 38 . 6/18 finally got round to reading this and it didn't disappoint at all, you're fantastic at creating a slow twist of morality from a ruthless streak into something else entirely. im really fond of your other dark Hermione stories, they're all brilliant the second person perspective for Neville was fantastic as well, really added a sense of the trauma they were all feeling, and fleshed out the story with a different dimension of conflict |
Guest chapter 1 . 6/12 The first paragraph is damn true. I always think why the goöden trio get all the fame, not only them fought the war the whole bloody school did. Everyone has their own role. And damn it Hermione is annoying bloody narrow-minded know it all who think she knows everything but does not. Only see one side of the war, she started the fight with Draco and saying she doesnt change lol |
Galka chapter 3 . 5/25 You manage to portray that sense of anxiety and desperation so well when Neville is making the potion. Everything you write seems like the only possible way that it happened. Like of course that's how they started working together. It really couldn't have happened any other way. You really are magical with stories. "he wanted it to stay clean." He wasn't doing it because he wanted to not be punished if his side lost, but because it was the right thing to do. Anything said about him would be overspeculated and gossiped about and yeah, dirtied. Draco taking over the classroom is such a power move. We've known he was a leader among his classmates, but this puts him in such an interesting light. Also, Pansy joins in on this first. This really puts her suggesting to give up Potter to Voldemort in a different light. It was something that could have saved so many lives. This is such a powerful story. Your characters are multidimensional, hurt, and healing. Their relationships are also incredibly dynamic. This is turning on its head so many of the typical ways at looking at the aftermath of the war. 3 As always, love it. |
Galka chapter 2 . 5/25 "not to spit in them" - damn Hermione is really unaware of what the students went through. Even when reading the books, granted, I didn't take it to heart, but I was young. And it wasn't my friends going through that. So much about harry potter seems darker now that I'm older and its all such a big yikes. "the past is the past is the past" - another allusion that is so wonderfully fitting and woven into the story. "wonder of wonders" Draco's narration is filled with such disdain for Granger. It's great. Amazing, really. I love Theo's humor in this. And am really curious to see how he develops as a character. Is Hermione writing to Ron in this? I feel like that would make sense. It's interesting to see how Draco's character is contrasted with Granger's. Even when Neville notices that their opinion about prophecies is probably the only thing they have in common. It's almost like they are circling each other - somehow their course of action is dependent on each other despite there being strong forces in play. |
Galka chapter 1 . 5/25 Wow, you're such a good story spinner! Are the pomegranates an allusion to the Hades and Persephone myth? The whole counting the seeds, six seeds being half a year, etc. Very nice imagery :))) I adore transitions like "It'll never be over - the war is over." It was such a good change of scene and reflected the dramatic shift between what the characters were feeling/ going through. Oh, and the end: "Granger, he was pleased to note, was sane." Which means she hates him. :((( She's being so cruel, understandably so, but still. I actually haven't read this story. While you were posting the chapters, I was going though some stuff but now I'm not, even though the world is. But that is far enough removed from this story (I think? as I can tell so far anyway) that I think I'll be able to finish it 3 |
