The view of Link holding the line was one of the best things I've read in some time. Perhaps you've long moved on from this story, complete as it is, but I think you're still impacting people with it today, and will continue to do so for as long as it gets read.

I won't lie, I am somewhat disappointed that the ending of this story won't cover the reunion with Impa, and Dorephan, and all the other peoples of Hyrule who would have been interested in, or had a connection to Link. Dorephan especially, after his last interaction with Zelda and Paya, which was one of my favorite of the story because of what it implied.

That disappointment really can't hold a candle to the rest. This story was awesome. Swapping Zelda for Link as the premise of the story would have been an 'interesting' premise always, but you played it into a grand story of divinity and leaned into the reality of BoTW and its peoples. There's subtlety in the interactions that I adore and you took the quiet song of BoTW and remade the notes to have weight I'd have expected in a power ballad. I'm gonna miss this story (I'll certainly re-read it multiple times, but I'll miss the new installments), but that hint of a sequel gives me joy :)

So at last their journey concludes. It's been a great ride and I'm glad that it got the ending that it deserved. I can't wait for BOTW 2 and hopefully along with it the sequel to this.

I'm glad Link wasn't really down and out - I didn't think he would be, but that he isn't is sweet. Looking forward to the conclusion.
