About Me:

If you're looking for moderately good, infrequently updated fic on my fandom-of-the-moment, you are in the right place. I tend to go through intense loving phases with fandoms and then go away from them for a while. Plus RL keeps me very busy most of the time.

I'm usually more of a reader. I highly recommend the stories and authors in my favorites. Everything there is a great read.

I dabble in writing when I get an idea I can't resist, but have a lot more I don't end up writing. Lack of time is a big factor in not writing as much as I'd like to.

I've been publishing here for over 15 years now (!) so I'm sure you'll notice a huge difference in the quality of my earlier and newer stories. I'd like to think my writing is developing all the time. Feedback is very welcome.

I may update my WIPs at some point, but I can't guarantee when. :( Could be literal years from now, and I may never get around to finishing some of them. I'm very sorry if that's disappointing to hear. Believe me I know from experience it's extremely frustrating to wait for updates on a story you really like or to discover the author has no plans to finish a story you were hooked on. If you are interested in taking over and continuing any of my WIPs, please PM me about it rather than just copying it without credit.

Update as of July 2012 -

Real life is demanding all of my time and focus at the moment. It's nothing bad, in fact it's really great. That's all I'll say about it here as I like to keep RL and fandom separate. It does mean that I'm not able to log in to FFN, keep up with reading & reviewing stories, or - most importantly in the case of LYLT - have time to write and update my own fics at the moment.

I'm incredibly sorry to anyone who is very invested and waiting for an update. I know that feeling and it is the worst. I am so grateful for all the interest the story has gotten and really appreciate you taking the time to read and feedback and get invested in the story and characters enough to be desperate to read more and find out what happens next. You're welcome to keep leaving notes and I'm happy to receive any comments but please don't labor under the assumption that it will be able to encourage or persuade me to post. It's not that I don't want to, I just can't right now. I don't have anything pre-written so I'm not withholding anything, I just am not able to continue writing at present.

I know this isn't what you wanted to hear. It's not what I want to have to say either. Just wanted to check in and ease the minds of those who were worried I'd fallen off the face of the earth! The HG fic community is a wonderful bunch of talented sweet people that I'm honored to be a part of so I hope to be back with you all soon.

Second Update as of January 2015 -

Wow, time flies. I've accidentally gotten into a different fandom when I know I should be writing LYLT (/*insert fic name of your choice here*) instead. I'm sorry! When the inspiration's there it'll be there. It wouldn't be the same story if I wasn't into it while writing it.

If it helps (new readers especially) I've decided to try and only post oneshots if I have to post at all now, so I hopefully won't leave anything else unfinished and will only start what I have time for.

If you're interested in why I changed my name, this one makes me laugh. I find it fascinating how frequently fanfic details that someone "popped the p" compared to how rarely in real life I encounter people pronouncing "yep" so sassily. If you are one of these writers, I don't mean to offend! Thank you for the giggles.
