I remember first stumbling upon The Darkness Within when I was 10 years old and reading it nonstop. It's been my favourite fanfiction ever since and the way you rewrote it is incredible. Even though you changed the bulk of the plot I could still recognize the parts that were included in the first first version. I hope you go back to updating fairly regularly as soon as you can.

I've read the original story recently and love it so much, so when I saw that there is a Rewrite available I just jump there to enjoy it at the same moment. I hoped so much that there would be some adds and changes in the plot and here they are!
I absolutely LOVE how you expand and deepen the original story! It was so enjoyable to read new twists about Nurmengard prison and the horrible fate of its guard Jackson, about two so nearly successful escapes of the Dark Prince - that was really awesome and soo exciting! About Aurors in Hogwarts and how Harry interacts with them, about Harry and his Father relationships after he has finally escaped, and all other additions and changes are so interesting to read! The way you changed the last updated chapter about the Golden Quill is amazing! I'm so excited to read it and I hope you will update soon!)

I just hope that you will continue rewriting the story the same amazing way and I especially can't wait to read the trial chapter rewrited! I hope you will expand it too)

The use of "Destroy" instead of "kill" or "Hurt" is super frustrating since it kills my immersion.

I know that Harry has to be a few years older then Damien so exactly what year is Harry in at Hogwarts. Also Draco and Ron what year are they it seems that if Harry has to share a room with Ron he must be in the same year as Harry so does that also put Draco in the same year as the other two boys and the rest of the boys and girls that would be Harry age. It was mentioned before the trial chapter Harry is 16 year old which should put Harry in 6th year.

Been reading the rewrite since it was published and can still remember being surprised and intrigued by it having finished APOM and DR but wanting to read more but wow... has it been that long? I am so glad you're still intending to finish it as I've been on/off checking for ages and the last time I read it fully I think it was only up to chapter 50, the changes and improvements that have been made have been very endearing and a treat to read and not at all as strange I thought it would be to re-read knowing what happens just not exactly how on some chapters, except maybe the swearing lol there seems to be a lot more of it which would be fine for just me but I love your story so it make me want to share it so I guess if I decided to do so with any of my younger family members i'll just replace it with he / she swore xD I feel I might be rambling now but I just want to say that I look forward to the finish (again) and that I am still an avid reader and re-reader of your stories/oneshots and that I think you've only gotten better over time and though this one has taken ages so it's probably unlikely but if you did decide to go back and fix or improve upon the other stories (even if they're already amazing) i'd be there to read them in a second, thank you and stay safe!

Your story and the world you created is awesome! I love this story a lot and you are really talented. I wanted to ask- all the stories that appear in you bio, the readers choice- I didn’t see most of them in the readers choice chapters (Harry telling draco about Ginny for example) . So all this list- you just never got to write them? If so then I hope that you will cause I can’t wait to read them!
