Expecto Patronum chapter 35 . 7/6 I know Remus’ patronus is a wolf but I don’t mind that it’s a raven in this patronus is a raven too! Although in reality I don’t really know since I have 3 Pottermore/Wizarding World accounts and twice my patronus is some kind of the ironic thing about my patronus being a raven is that I was sorted into Ravenclaw in one of my accounts but I was sorted into Hufflepuff that time |
Expecto Patronum chapter 28 . 7/5 Who’s cutting the onions? |
Expecto Patronum chapter 3 . 7/5 Really nice story! |
ladyvaderDC chapter 35 . 5/3 Thank you for writing such a such a brilliant story. Hands down one of the best Remadora long fics I've read. Remus' voice was so clear, honest and rich throughout the story. Andromeda was written in such detail- her elegance, her cold retorts. I did wish we could see Andromeda and Remus mend their relationship, but perhaps they never did. Did Teddy forgive his parents? It wasn't explicitly written (but perhaps the ambiguous ending was what you were going for!) |
ladyvaderDC chapter 31 . 5/3 Sometime's I forget the flashbacks are written in Remus' POV, until another big word or literary reference comes up. But Charlie's cameo really made it obvious this is from Remus' perspective- never have I seen him being described so eloquently negative! While Remus/Dora is one of my favourite ships, their relationship (as written in the books) was honestly quite toxic- a fact which some remadora authors do gloss over. I think you've dealt in a realistic manner, with Teddy asking the hard questions we all have. If Remus really loved Dora and his son, why did he even consider leaving them? Why did /both/ of them have to fight in the final battle? As a reader we might understand why they made their individual perspectives (even if we don't agree with them). |
ladyvaderDC chapter 25 . 5/3 The Remus you've written showed more weakness and vulnerability than in other fics I've read- while he tries to be this very polite and honorable person, twice in your story he's completely lost it (albeit in a convincingly Remus-way!) I did wish we could see the run up to Dumbledore's death- was he with his pack-mates when he was called? Or did Dumbledore warn him in advanced that something was going to happen? And maybe abit more on how he felt when confronted with Tonks. It's really interesting that you've made this part alot darker (rather than him and Tonks immediately getting on really well after he finally gives in). It probably fits much better with his later actions when he leaves Tonks when she is pregnant! |
ladyvaderDC chapter 10 . 5/1 Sirius being the number 1 shipper for them is one of my favorite things! The chocolate eating competition was a fun anecdote as well. Andromeda really lost so much in the war. It's a wonder that she still managed to raise a newborn baby (who would have reminded her so much of Dora) after losing both Dora and Ted :( |
ladyvaderDC chapter 5 . 5/1 I really enjoy how you've combined Teddy's perspective, Lupin's writing and the 3rd person story all in one- it could have become quite confusing but you've managed to put it all together really well so far :) |
ladyvaderDC chapter 3 . 5/1 The journal entry here summarises Harry's father-figure issue really well. It's such a Remus thing to be concerned about Harry in this way! |
Guest chapter 35 . 8/13/2019 Excellent. Northumbrian |

tabea.koegl chapter 5 . 1/30/2019 That doens;t make sense at all! I mean Pettigrew also knows about Sirius being an Animagus so why does Remus believe it was snape who told the deatheaters |
Chocolate3940 chapter 18 . 12/30/2018 I'm about halfway through and it's fantastic I love the way you write McGonagall she is absolutely hilarious. I laughed so much when she said that Fred and Georges fireworks were almost better than sex |
Lmmhutch chapter 35 . 12/23/2018 What a beautiful beautiful story. So bittersweet, with the approaching doom. You are truly gifted. It’s really hard to read any other authors’ stories after yours. Thank you. |
